Are the even numbered rooms always on the port side?

Only on Princess.

On Celebrity the even numbered rooms are on Starboard.

SO confusing if you sail both! :o

Ref Port Side

Port = Wine. Port Wine = Red. So, Port side carpets are trimmed in Red. The Starboard side trimmed in Blue.

Even more confusing on RCCL.

They have even and odd on both sides with odd-numbered being the inside cabins and even being on the hull side.

We've seen this on the Grand class and the Coral however to our surprise, the Dawn Princess' hallway carpets are identical in color on both sides.
