Any beaches on Virgin Gorda easy to get to?

Besides going to the Baths, are there any beaches to go to that don't require walking through the Baths? We just want to relax on a beautiful beach. Any with amenities?

I gather your ship is stopping at VG and not Tortola?

There are some beautiful beaches in the Valley area including Savannah and Spring Bay. But for a nice beach with amenities look at Little Dix Bay on the North End and Fischer's Cove in the Valley area. Both great choices for a nice beach day with amenities.

We are stopping in Tortola, but I thought the kids would enjoy the ferry ride to VG. We have been to Tortola before. Is the ferry about 30 minutes?

Yes. For a nice beach with amenities a short drive from the ferry Little Dix, contact the resort to check into day visitor options. I misspoke esrlier, LDB is close. For a beach with no amenities you can try either Spring or Savannah.

We haven't been there but try contacting Fischer's Cove which is a short taxi ride as well. Low key resort with a beach bar, not sure about lounge rentals or how busy they are in Dec.

Other options include Mango Bay Resort which is about 7km (mangobay@surfbvi.com), Leverick Bay which is about 10km (leverick@surfbvi.com), and the Bitter End Yacht Club which is a luxury resort that can only be reached by water.

You could stop to grab lunches in Spanishtown and get dropped at Savannah or Spring but again no amenities for day visitors.
