Hobby to Galveston on RCC ground transportation

Hello - we arrive at Hobby this Monday morning December 26th at 930 am for the Mariner sailing later that day. We do not have reservations on Royal's ground transportation (they close ground transportation reservations two weeks prior to your departure). Having just spent the last hour trying to find the best price from Hobby to Galveston, it looks like Royal's $31 per person price is the winner (there are two of us).

It sounds like we can just show up at Hobby without making reservations, pay the $31 price, and we are good to go. Has anyone else done this? Any chance the Royal bus fills up, and you get turned away if you don't have a reservation?

Maybe I should not be cheap and just book with one of the recommended limo companies.

Who told you what ......to make it "sounds like"?

Was it RCL?

Can RCL tell you if transfer is already full?

They are buses I guess and should have room!

Its a bet on come.... but probably should work!

That transfer may come from Bush Airport first and pick up Hobby on way..

As early as you are into Hobby

you may have a wait

but not a problem if you get on.

Good thing is you are in early and can explore the options with RCL

and get tickets early with them.

You still have time to get another source - limo or taxi if RCI doesn't work

and still get to airport!

Also could try going on cruisecritic-Roll Calls for your cruise

and try hooking up with another couple or two flying

in about same time and for same cruise and share a limo.

If you hook up try Cornerstone Elite Limo.

We have used them and been very happy!!
