If you can wait till August, I will go for it. Otherwise, it sounds like a mighty fine use of $3.00! :halo:

::Edit: My bad, I replied to an old post. Still sounds delicious!::

Carnival's Brand Ambassador posted a video on his social media page about the new room service items. You can google and find it. The video shows the doughnut sandwich. It looks like a doughnut with sprinkles sliced in two with nutella, cream, and strawberries inside.

So there's no free room service from10pm-6am??

I'm wondering the same thing. We were on the Conquest over Thanksgiving and they still offered a late night menu with free items, but it looks like that's going away?

That is correct. Apparently, too many people were wasting food that was ordered through room service at night. So, in an effort to reduce (or eliminate) wasting, Carnival is charging for items ordered from room service between 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Yes, room service is only free in the mornings and afternoons (and only some items, basically just cold sandwiches). From 10p-6a, all room service has a charge.

I didn't say anything when Carnival removed table cloths, didn't seem like a big deal. But my BLT after the comedy club or casino was a big part of my cruises believe it or not. I haven't booked another cruise since this change came out, and right now I'm not sure what I'll do going forward.

I thought Carnival had been assessing a flat, night-time "cover" charge for room service after 10pm. Have they now switched to ala carte pricing, or am I conflating this with Royal's "anytime except breakfast" room service charge?

The prices don't look unreasonable; I like how they appear to be taking the fact that you've already paid to be onboard into account and charging a bit less than landside restaurants would.

No, prior to this change room service was free with a few premium items, no matter when you ordered. A basket of fries was previously $1 I think.

Would the Pride have the same room service menu?

Yes, it was rolled out fleet-wide, seemingly overnight.

Interesting how they can roll out things that earn money overnight, but things that are included take forever to roll out (like the new deli menu).
