Yes, we had lobster on the 1st elegant night as well on the Magic last month. I do think it is still offered on all 7+ night cruises on CCL!

Just off the Dec 3 - 10 Breeze sailing, and we had those small "Maine" lobster tails on the 1st elegant night. I ordered 2 servings, and instead of getting 2 meals on 2 plates, they combined the 2nd serving with the first on one plate. First time I ever saw that happen.

Thought it was a pretty good idea, saves a plate, makes those table trays a little bit lighter for the waiters to carry from the kitchen, and saves space on the table.

A few times it says 'Maine' and they are obviously carribean lobsters, with the spots and all. And waiters have said 'ah...........I mean, done in a Maine style' hahaha, ok

I'm glad you posted this question! I've heard the same thing about Ecstasy not having lobster on their 7 day cruises and I was a little disappointed because I have a 7 day booked for the Ecstasy for New Years. I know the lobster isn't the best, but it's better than nothing. :D

audcc77, report back on how the lobster was. I hope you have a great cruise!

I think that demonstrates my point!

It doesn't demonstrate anything other than you think you have a right or misconstrued duty to tell someone you don't even know how much of something they should be allowed to have. Rather invasive and pretty liberal of you to think you know what's best for someone else outside of your immediate family.

And failing to actually answer a question that was presented to you is another telltale sign.

We certainly had lobster on Glory over Thanksgiving week but it was the first elegant night (and it may have been moved because the second elegant night was Thanksgiving). My waiter brought me a second plate without me having to ask for it (although he could have overheard me tell DW that I wished that I'd ordered another). It may have gone to waist but it didn't go to waste.

I had 3 that night but now I'm questioning whether or not I "needed" them.

We ended up not getting the free lobster because at the last minute carnival gave us each a free upcharge lobster the next day. I didn’t feel like having it two days in a row.

The upcharge lobster was given to us because the first entire day we were here, the moment we stepped into our cabin, our room smelled of sewage. It was putrid, like a sewage plant. In-your-face bad. After several attempts throughout the day, a guy showed up using a VERY loud drill for about 60 min, at 1030 p.m. and so we couldn’t even watch tv. I had to run off to the casino it smelled so bad.

The upcharge lobster was lucious though. 😋

It was nice they comped us.

This ship seems really older than fantasy or elation. Not sure if it is. Half the time it seems many elevators don’t function. The lady’s voice on the elevator is hilarious. Sometimes she says the floor name in slooooow moooootion.

The rest of this cruise has been good though.

OT was the deli and breakfast menus updated on the Breeze?
