Another idea......we plan on a river cruise in 2013 Rhine or Danube. So if anyone has ever wanted to try a river cruise maybe we could consider that too.

hmmm - River cruise sounds nice but not sure how many folks would be able to make it -

I'll let ya'll know about Bermuda after October.

East-West Panama Canal would be nice if it is available.

Any thoughts on a Western Caribbean B2B?

The 2013 itineraries are out for the new Breeze! Here are the dates and ports (leaving from Miami):

6 day - Grand Turk, Montego Bay - Jan 13
6 day - Grand Turk, Ocho Rios - Jan 27, Feb 10, Feb 24, Mar 10, Mar 24

8 day - St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola, Nassau - Jan 19, Feb 2, Mar 2, Mar 16
8 day - Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacao, Aruba - Jan 5, Feb 16, Mar 30

I like the 8 day to St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola and Nassau as I haven't been to Antigua or Tortola before. Might even be fun to do the 8 day followed by the 6 day, although I'm not a big fan of Ocho Rios.

So, the question is: do we want to do our 2013 reunion cruise on the Breeze? If we do, do we want to do an official CC group cruise or just book and chat in the roll call section? I don't mind organizing it if we go with the official CC cruise.

If not, there is Amy's Official B2B Cruise on the Dream or we can pick something else.

Woo Hoo! 8 days in the Caribbean - Tortola/Antigua new to us. Feb2 or Mar2 followed of course by the 6 days. We would probably just book through our TA or ourselves - was not thrilled with CC service and looking at current trends we can do better pricing (OBC has decreased also)

That being said we would, of course, want to be included in any/all activities that are allowed if you do decide to do a CC booking.

Sure do hope lots of Maniacs will participate - plenty of time to save up for the big event.

M.O.B (Maniacs on Board)
Here We Go Again!

Am having T-shirts printed with this on it - haven't picked the design yet - for our Bermuda Cruise with Jane and Morgan. Beauty is we can use them forever!!

Miss all of you and pray you are all well- looking forward to a great summer. Bill's retirement has been pushed out until July 30th so he can take advantage of his final step increase. It will make a nice difference in his future checks.

I get to spend a week in Virginia Beach at our time share by myself again this year. I really enjoyed the time with my gal pals last year and we are going to do much the same again - PJ parties-sunbathing-margaritas-or Tiramisu's and all that ...

Hope this reunion comes together as good as the last one did. SANDY - THANK YOU!!!

We are with Poom on this one! I really like the itin and the timing. Any of the 3 months and would love to do a B2B again.

I looked at the Feb 2 and Feb 10 cruises B2B. On the Feb 2 the cove was 999 pp before taxes and fees and the Feb 10 6 day is 679 pp before taxes for the ES rate.

I said I wasn't going to plan this far ahead again and said we were done with the Caribbean for a long while but these 2 cruises have me excited again.

Oh, the possibilities. Gives me something to think about!

I'm fine with everyone booking on their own and we can just chat in the roll call section like we did with the Panama Canal cruise. I'll still organize (or help organize) whatever we do onboard. I'll just re-use all my notes, etc. from the last B2B.

I like the Feb 2/10 b2b because I'd be onboard for my birthday again and that's a great way to spend a birthday.

Feb 2/10 would also mean another Valentine's Day cruising as well as annniversary for Lynn & Dennis - some other bdays too.

Sure hope Denise & Tom/Mike & Kitty will come along also - Saw on FB that Aussie Deb & Moth are a possibility also. Looks like things are shaping up for another good reunion -

Sandy - time to start a list of possibles???

Happy Cinco de Mayo to all -

For Jane & Morgan(Captain Morgan & Calamity Jane) it is Cindy dey Mayo - 5 years ago today their daughter Cindy finished her battle with breast cancer and left this earth - while their hearts will forever miss her they choose to celebrate her LIFE! Be sure to send them some extra love and hugs today.

Off to Massachusetts in the am - long drive ahead of us...
Blessings to all - Poom (& Bill)

For comparison, here are the pp double occ prices for both the 8 day (Tortola/Antigua/St. Thomas/Nassau) and the 6 day cruises. The "balcony" is the cove balcony and all are early saver prices. These are from Carnival's website.

8 day
Jan. 19 - 629 (inside) 799 (oceanview) 959 (balcony) 1509 (suite)
Feb. 2 - 669 (inside) 839 (oceanview) 999 (balcony) 1549 (suite)
Mar. 2 - 719 (inside) 899 (oceanview) 1079 (balcony) 1629 (suite)
Mar. 16 - 719 (inside) 899 (oceanview) 1079 (balcony) 1629 (suite)

6 day (2 ports - Montego Bay/Grand Turk)
Jan. 13 - 429 (inside) 529 (oceanview) 619 (balcony) 1019 (suite)

6 day (3 ports - Ocho Rios/Grand Turk/Nassau)
Jan. 27 - 429 (inside) 529 (oceanview) 619 (balcony) 1019 (suite)
Feb. 10 - 489 (inside) 589 (oceanview) 679 (balcony) 1079 (suite)
Feb. 24 - 529 (inside) 629 (oceanview) 719 (balcony) 1119 (suite)
Mar. 10 - 589 (inside) 699 (oceanview) 789 (balcony) 1189 (suite)
Mar. 24 - 629 (inside) 729 (oceanview) 819 (balcony) 1219 (suite)

So, obviously, the cheapest would be the Jan. 19 8-day with the 6 day either before or after for those who might be doing the B2B.

My choices for the 8 day would be:

1. Feb 2 (and for me, Feb. 10 after)
2. Jan 19 (and Jan. 13 before)
3. Jan. 19 (and Jan. 27 after)
4. Mar. 2 (and Feb. 24 before)
