QE2 mileage

The QE2 is reported to have sailed more nautical miles than any other ship in history. Is this record ever likely to be bettered?

Although most records do fall with time, this one will be hard to beat. The information below is outdated (I received it in an email from Capt. Warwick in 2000), but it will give you an idea of how far QE2 as sailed:

"From the time the QE2 came into service up to 11 July 2000 we have traveled 4,676,870 nautical miles (5,378,400 statute miles) which is the equivalent to 216.5 times around the world!"

It would be interesting to know how far the Rotterdam V sailed over the years. She was in service with Holland America Line between Sept. 1959 and Sept. 1997 (including 29 circumnavigations of the globe). She then sailed for Premier Cruises as Rembrandt.

Through the 2004 World cruise, QE2 had circumnavigated the globe a total of 23 times (with another scheduled for 2005).

Both of these ships also completed numerous long cruises. Can anyone update the QE2's mileage, or provide the total mileage sailed by the Rotterdam V?
