Christmas cruise 2017

Hello HAL-Fans,

we are just looking for a cruise around New Zealand for christmas 2017. We found cruises with the Maasdam and the Noordam before and after christmas... Are the cruises over christmas not offered yet ? Or are these cruises not on sale because they will be charter ?

Australia / New Zealand...

maybe I am too early for christmas cruises :D

I don't believe HAL charters ships over the Christmas/New Years period. I suggest you contact HAL for an explanation.

I know for the South America cruises that the Christmas cruises are always released later than the regular cruises. It looks like it is the same for the Australia/New Zealand cruises. I would expect to see it available in another month.

May be a dumb ? But did you search by "Holiday"?

Just checked. A search for "Holiday" cruises shows only 2016. Just keep checking or give HAL a call and see if they yet know when the 2017 Holiday cruises will be available to book.:)

Guten Nacht. Most itineraries for late Fall 2017 through Summer 2018 (in the US) open in the next 30-120 days. At this point I don't see any open beyond the first week of Dec, 2017.

The Port Otago (Dunedin)website shows HAL has booked the Maasdam for December 30th, 2017, and Noordam December 12th 2017.

Also, the Port of Napier has a booking for Maasdam on January 2nd 2018, so HAL must be planning an Australia/NZ cruise for Christmas /New Year.

Will be interested to see what date the ship departs from Sydney.

The cruise of the Maasdam before christmas will end at the 23th of december in Sydney and the next cruise after christmas will start at the 5th of January at Auckland.

So it will be a cruise 23.12. - 05.01. from Sydney to Auckland for the Maasdam.

The Noordam will have a cruise 21.12. - 05.01. Sydney/Sydney - so this ship will go to NZ or to the Pacific Islands ??

I will wait and see :)

Noordam is booked at Port Chalmers December 12, 2017 and January 9th, 2018, and booked in Napier December 3rd, 2017, and January 13th, 2018.

So she must be sailing to the Islands over Christmas /New Year.
