It’s similar to most private islands with the beach day and lunch that’s included. It’s not as pretty as HMC’s white sand IMHO but it offers great snorkeling because of all the rocks. Definitely pack water shoes and if you walk opposite of the food you can find secluded areas on the shore with beautiful tide pools with tiny fish and sea urchin and other creatures. We rented a clam shell last time and it was Hot under it. This time we’re renting a cabana (bungalow on carnival’s excursion site) for my friend’s 40th Birthday. They fit 4 people and you get air conditioner with 4 chairs and towels inside and 4 reserved lounges outside. There are some YouTube videos of the island giving tours and showing the bungalows. Oh yeah, you can also leave the “private” area and see what the locals are selling. It’s near where the tender (water shuttle) docks. We got some great wooden sea creatures. Have fun!
