AMA Air?

I have Tulip Time cruise booked for April 2019. The Air flights/prices will be opening up soon. I am going to compare AMA price and direct with the airline.

Can I call AMA myself or will they only talk to the travel agent?

Do you pay when you reserve or is the air added to the reservation?

My cruise is in US$ and I want to Air in CDN$, can they do that?

I know that transfers are free when you have Air through AMA.

Might I ask why you booked your cruise in US$? Logically, I don't think you will have any problem getting air in CDN$ since that is what the airlines will quote them, but I'm only guessing.

That is a crucial piece of information, and may limit the relevance of most posters' experience with AMA. I suggest you call AMA directly and ask this question – and be sure to mention that it is a whole-ship charter.

I can't answer as to whether or not you can deal directly from Ama due to your circumstances but I will tell you, that in my experience, Ama's contracted air is generally slightly less expensive than booking direct with the airline. Typically you only pay a deposit ($350 USD per person) on the air and you have until final payment to pay the remainder, again I do not know what the charter organizer has arranged so this could be different.

Oh and one thing on the transfers, they are only included if you are traveling in/out on the day of the cruise begins/ends or are on an Ama pre/post cruise land extension. If you deviate they are not included.

Thanks for the information.

The whole ship is chartered, we make our own air flight arrangements as people are coming from all over the States and Canada.

We are doing a pre cruise land extension with AMA.
