Holiday Inn Gretna parking for cruise PLUS extra night

Hello, we're on the Dream out of NO in Jan. I have the Holiday inn park and cruise package booked for Fri and Sat before the cruise departure on Sunday. We now have a chance to stay with friends that saturday night...if we just purchase the park and cruise package for Friday night--does anyone know if they'll allow us to park our car there for 8 nights (vs the 7 nights we'd be on the cruise). I'd even be willing to pay extra for that additional one night. Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm not sure about that one but it might be a good idea to call the Holiday Inn directly to see what they say.
