Panama Canal and Panama City Photos

New is nice but I like the old city which the past few years has been going though a major renovation. Next photo shows the old city.

Let's take a look inside the church.

Lots of renovation and improvements have taken place.

Although the Panama Hat was not created here it is still widely in use and sold to locals and tourists alike.

Those tides come to shore and then go back out.

Back to the Panama Canal a place that visitors can watch ships transiting the canal.

As many times as we have transited the Panama Canal and also visited Panama City we look forward to doing it again in the future.

Nice collection Keith, thanks for posting. While the Canal is always the star attraction, Panama has such history with so much to see... I am amazed at the number of cruises that don't offer a port call in Panama along with the transit.

BillB48 you are very welcome. I agree with you. I do wish more cruises stopped at Panama City.
