Harvest Caye - what's the scene?

Okay, we've never been but will be there soon. :)

 

It looks like it might be just a beaches & bbq kind of scene? Is this true?

 

If you've been and would care to share your experience, what to do, etc, we would appreciate.

Basically, it's a beach day on gorgeous, relaxing beaches. Yes, lunch is served, courtesy of the ship. There are other things to do, but some will cost extra and you are under no obligation to do any of those things. Loungers are included in the day. It's not like a "real" port, where others live/work there....it's an area owned by the cruise line, for your enjoyment.

If you aren't into beaches, the ship is an uncrowded place to spend the day!

That's interesting, I was there November 2017 and all food and drinks(adult and non adult)were included. I had bbq burger lunch with all kinds of salads and fruit. Also, lots of desserts to choose from. Enjoyed frozen drinks, mixed drinks and soda. Didn't pay a dime.
