St Thomas Half Day Sail

I have posted this on the ports of call board, but the traffic is so light there.

What would all you experts suggest for a company who can handle 10 people for a half day sail to St John? Most of the companies can only handle 6ppl. Thank you for your help.

DMorris - try this: [url="http://www.st-thomas.com/"]http://www.st-thomas.com/[/url] and then go to 'SPORTS & ACTIVITIES' then 'watersports' and then 'day sails' -- it lists a few in St. Thomas and a couple of them look like they may hold more than the 6 ppl that most do. Catamaran Girl looked like it holds 80! Hope this helps.

When we were first booking our Winifred day sail it looked like we would have 7 people attending and the Winifred holds a max of 6. So I asked Captain Sharon for a referral to a boat that would take a larger party and she referred me to the Nightwind, [url="http://www.sailyachtnightwind.com/"]http://www.sailyachtnightwind.com/[/url]

We just sailed the Winifred last week from St Thomas. It was a full day tour and the MOST AWESOME experience!!! My kids brought back pictures of them snorkeling with sea turtles and Manta Ray. Capt Sharon made us lunch as well. We also had open bar for the day. WOW!!! I was toasted!

The rate was $100 per person, but since I also brought along 2 of my clients, she only charged me for 3 people instead of 4.

The above recommendation seems to be a fit for your party, though.
