I propose to take a Holland America cruise in February 2014 and am anxious not to lose the cheaper range of cabins. How late can I leave it before I make a booking. Any help would be gratefully received.

Welcome to Cruise Critic.

I don't know what your rules are for getting lower prices once you have booked a cruise in the UK.

Here in the states we can, and most do, like to book as soon as possible to get the cabin of our choice. And if we see a price drop before final payment is due, we can request that lower price.
