Carnival Vista Stateroom

Still looking for information on staterooms 3248 and 3234 ocean view with an obstructed view. I tried Carnival's forum and was unable to get any information on how much of the window is obstructed. Has anyone ever stayed in either of these rooms? When we took our cruise last year we had an ocean view and I liked looking out the window to see the ocean and when we were coming into port. If the view is completely blocked than I will consider an upgrade. Also does anyone have information on formal nights, how many? and white night. Thanks

The lifeboats are there so it will probably be pretty obstructed. If you want a true OV I would go down to Deck 2.

Elegant nights depend on your itinerary. On the 8 day Southern it will be Sunday and Friday. Not sure about the 6 day.

Did you change to deck 2? I am wondering what noise level is like on deck 3?

Hi there! We tried to change our cabin for deck 2 but it was all booked. Our travel agent is going to keep an eye out if there are any cancellations. Since there are 8 of us going we all wanted to be close together and they only had two rooms left. I did find out that the Liquid Lounge is above us if that is any help. Don't how long it is open but we never get back to our room until late so I don't think that will be an issue for us. Hope this helped.
