MSC berth in Brindisi

We will be in Brindisi in one week's time on Musica. I have made plans to explore the town on our own but, having looked where the ship is berthed today, it seems to be some way out of the centre of town. Has anyone visited this port this year and can you tell me whether the port or the ship provides a transfer downtown. Thank you

I didn't see this when posted  so couldn't comment but yes there is a transfer to the town provided and once there you can easily walk around the town itself. The journey takes around 20 minutes to get there
