If I have it right the door is beside the desk which is against the wall opposite the bed (i.e at the foot of the bed) so being as the cabin joins 8016 the bed will be forward and the door aft

I am trying to picture this in my mind and not doing too well. Are you telling me that it is between the desk and the sofa?

In Penthouses which connect, the door is where the mirror is in this photograph, just behind the white chair. The ajoining cabin would be the mirror image.

So, in effect, there is no space lost and only a mirror, if i am correct.

Thanks for your help.

The mirror replaces the door in those Penthouses which don't connect.

The doors are metal (fire regulations) and are painted to blend in with the walls.

When unopened, they are very unobtrusive.

Thanks very much for answering again and for your patience with me. I actually found a picture on Cruise Deck Plans.

There is really no space or anything lost except some mirror.
