Getting from Nice to Monte carlo

Our cruise is leaving from Monte Carlo in late August and we are flying into Nice (and staying one night pre-cruise). Can someone recommend the best way to get from the airport in Nice to MC? My husband wants to rent a car and drive. Anyone know about car rentals or have a better suggestion?

It is not that far and since you have luggage just take a taxi from your hotel.If you didn't have luggage I would say the train.You will end up with a can anyway as you have to drop off the car someplace,and I bet it's not the pier.

Frankly spoken... to be accepted in Monte Carlo you should use a helicopter...

But it might be out of your budget...
