Neisson & Le Carbet... walkable?

As per google maps, 10 minute walk between the Neisson distillery and the beach at Le Carbet. Is the terrain walkable? i.e. safe? Is this a doable plan if we take a taxi from port to the beach / Le Petibonum and then walk to Neisson? Assuming one could call for a taxi from the distillery to get back to port? Thanks!

Personally, would do our bit for the local economy and take a taxi. But it is walkable, but why when on vacation?

We walk whenever possible and are accustomed to walking 8+ hours a day on most of our vacations.

Thanks for the info.
