Need great ideas on family things to do in Nassau & Freeport

I'll be traveling with my kids end of January to both Nassau & Freeport. The kids are ages 8 & 9 and while I've been on plenty of cruises in the past, this will be my first with kids. Any advice on things to do in both ports? Not looking to spend a lot....

Thanks in advance!

In Nassau, there is the Pirate Museum, Ardastra Gardens & Zoo, and Cable Beach (you can take a cab or the #10 jitney bus). Plus, we've used BayWest Adventures for a great snorkel/boat tour there. The water is beautiful!!!

In Freeport, I would look at Pat & Diane's snorkel/boat tours. They were great when we used them with our boys years ago.

You could look on trip advisor or shoreexcursioneer for ideas. Plus it's much less expensive when you book something through private companies rather than through the cruise lines.

Good luck! Have fun!
