What is there to do on sea days

Hi everyone

My husband and I are looking at going on the Queen Mary 2 at the end of Jan 2020 between Dubai and Singapore and we wondered what there is to do on the sea days.

Neither of us are sun worshippers or big drinkers so just planning ahead.

Lots or nothing at all, it's up to you.

There are examples of Daily Programmes in the "Welcome" sticky at the top of the board.

Lectures will change but it will give you an idea of the type and variety of activities available.

There are plenty of interesting indoor daytime activities. My most recent Cunard cruise was a World Cruise segment from Hong Kong to Singapore in 2017. Some of the more popular activities are lectures, planetarium shows and afternoon tea. In my experience, Cunard is the best line for sea days.

There will be excellent speakers, classical and some popular music (think piano and jazz, not rap or rock). There is a dramatic group that performs, and there will be evening shows in the Royal Court Theatre. There will be wine and champagne tastings.($) They have a very nice Canyon Ranch spa for massages and spa treatment.($) There will be a daily quiz program in the Golden Lion Pub, afternoon tea and the QM2 has the largest library at sea. And the meals are a wonderful diversion as well. There is also a well equipped gym. One of my favorite activities is sitting on my balcony watching the ocean pass with a good book. ($) Means there are additional charges.
