We set a goal to open parts of the park on Saturday, September 22 (National Public Lands Day, a fee-free day). Visitors should expect limited hours, limited services, and that only some areas will be open for safe visitation. The date could change due to unforeseen natural disasters. Depending on the nature of the damage and available funding, some areas may take years to reopen“.
