Shore excursion waitlist

Soon to depart on QM2 to Cape Town and all the shore excirsions are now listed waitlist only. Is it worth going on the list or shall I look for private tours myself? I’m wondering if Cunard will add extra capacity on the tours depending on the waitlist.

if you are sailing 10th Jan then excursions are always unavailable to book 3 days approx. before you sail check once onboard there should be a tour leaflet in your cabin on your arrival

Ever single time I've been on a wait list ( on all 3 Q's) I've always received notice that I could be accommodated. Good LUCK! Enjoy your cruise :-)

I live in Cape town. The hop on hop of bus is great for a city tour .t also goes to table mountain. You can walk to Robin island ferry in 5 mins from cruise terminal. Walk to waterfront in 2 mins . Most of this can be booked online. Do it yourself for half the price
