Hey all! Just wanted to let those know who are considering booking this hotel for your precruise stay that the banner ad I found above on this page had a wonderful discount and includes a welcome drink for 2, free parking during your stay, 50% off parking after checkout, early check in based on availability, late check out to 2 pm, breakfast, and Free port transfer as well.

Being that we are a group of 5. I phoned and asked, and the port transfer for each additional person is $8.

We booked a 2 queen Suite and saved $30. The discount even beat the AARP discount as well. Hope this helps someone.

.

Hmmm? Port transfer to POM for $8 each for your group of 5 works out to $40+tip; an SUV or Van-taxi on the same route (downtown to POM) would be about $15+tip.

What am I missing?

The price includes transfer for 2. So the other 3 can either pay the $8 or take a taxi.

There are lots of restaurants right in the area, probably closer to 2 dozen! You will have everything from Yakitori, Ramen, chinese, burgers, barbecue, Italian, irish, Mexican, seafood, Etc. Tons of things to choose from.

There are TOO MANY CHOICES:D....I think I will have to hit a few of them. Drinks at one place, dinner somewhere else and then dessert;)

I'm not seeing a banner ad... Is there a discount code to use?

Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app via my iPad, pardon the typos!

You won't see it using an iPad app. Check on a desktop, and you'll see it.

Check out this link:

The restaurants are listed and most of them have their own websites.

So many of them look really good to me and I haven't picked out

one specifically yet:D

One word of advice - AVOID Brother Jimmys BBQ - we tried it in November last year and it was NOT good!! Worst ribs we have ever had by far!!!

Hi again, here is another link...this has the restaurants directly.

The Tapas place sounds soooo good:D and so does the Irish Pub:D

And so does......well, you get the point;)

http://www.marybrickellvillage.com/restaurants.html

The Tapas place is just okay. You won't see many people there, that will be a tip off.

Fado's is fun. The food is pretty good too.

Toscana Divino is excellent.

There are lots of restaurants that are next to Mary Brickell. OTC, La Gazzetta, Batch Gastropub, Perricones, Sumi Yakitori, River Oyster.

You will have a ton of choices.

my biggest issue:D...I LOVE all sorts of ethnic foods;)

Ohhhh... I LOVE Perricone's........been there 2 or 3 different times over the

Just got off the phone with them after booking online because my confirmation says it will be $18 per day for parking even though the special says free parking during your stay. They said they would give it to me, but were unsure why that was part of the package as parking is with a different company then the hotel.
