Parking at Baltimore Port

We are driving to the port in Baltimore for our upcoming cruise, I read on here that there are 2 different lines when you arrive. One for paying cash and one for paying with credit cards, I didn't notice this 2 years ago. Is this something new?

Done Baltimore many times. I don't recall two lines however cash is always faster.

It was this way in fall 2014. You might not notice, since the cash only line is not a line. :) So ask.

Last time, took a car service to/from the port, even easier.

There are also stay and park options. Hotels, you stay the night before, and they have a shuttle to/from the port and you leave your car at the hotel. About a wash in price between the hotel and parking, but if you are going to stay the night before anyway.....

We stayed at a hotel once and used the shuttle service, but I did not like having to wait around for the shuttle. We can be off the ship, load the car, and on our way home quickly.

There were two lines to pay for parking in mid-September. One credit and one cash. The cash did move faster but it wasn't too bad when I got there.
