Looking for UPDATED Little French Key Information

To those that have visited since the fire, or will be going in the near future, can you please post pics and tell me how it is compared to prior to the fire? I'm not interested in hearing about animal abuse allegations, I simply want to know how it looks since the fire and if it is still worth visiting or wait until it's a little further along and cleaned up more?

We are scheduled to go in two weeks and I'm also curious. I follow them on FB and Instagram, but I'd like to here someone es first hand account.

The area that was burned down was the beach house with a bar underneath and some animal cages that were right next to the house. It’s all cleaned up now and hasn’t affected where you swim or lay out. I have friends that are going on a cruise in October and they are still going to LFK. I’ve stayed there for 3 nights at the beginning of August and been there 3 times on a cruise. I know exactly where the fire was and can say your visit will not be affected in anyway. They also still do have some animals so you can see them but they aren’t having anymore interactions at this time due to the stress.

While I haven’t been there since the fire, I have seen people post saying it’s still beautiful. I also know some employees and it’s all good. I would go and not worry.

Thank you for starting this thread. I am also very interested in the current status of the LFK facility. We plan to visit at the end of October and would so appreciate any first hand info.

Any more recent visitors to LFK? We will be in Roatan next month and are trying to decide if this is the place to go. Is the animal area open now? Are the other facilities repaired? Are they still doing the horseback riding?

someone just posted their review of their visit a few weeks ago.  Its on this board.  Its the post asking about ?'s for little french key that haven't been answered.

Subscribing.  The poster referred to above talks about long lines, crowds, and no animals.
