Best aft on escape

Me and my friend are moving the date of our Bermuda cruise and planning to switch to aft balcony. We will be sailing in escape and I was wondering if people would recommend level 15, 14, or 13. I know everyone has there own opinions just looking for people thoughts.

Thanks in advance

Karen

If the aft-facing choices are 15, 14, or 13, I'd take 14.

Deck 15 is right under the Garden Cafe.

Deck 13 is the least deep aft-facing deck.

For depth, the order is 9, 12, 15, (11&14 are nearly identical), 10, 13.

Keep in mind that there are differences in width for some B1 balconies on each deck. There are also different bed locations (bed-near-balcony or sofa near balcony) for aft-facing balconies.

My personal choice would be deck 12 with bed-near-balcony (12308, for ex.).

How do you determine if the bed is near the balcony? Thank you

It's a combination of photos and reviews from others as well as what I have seen/photographed. The Escape deckplan doesn't help. In fact, the BA/GA deckplan (which shows the indent) has a few errors so even then, pictures/reviews are important.

I don't have every stateroom memorized but I have a list. Feel free to ask about a particular stateroom. Someone will give you an answer and possibly pictures/video.

We loved our Aft balcony on deck 12. Huge balcony and a good view of the wake. (Better than a lower deck view.) It seems like this deck sells out first so you have to grab one if they are available.

We really loved the location of our Large Balcony (B6) on Deck 9. It is close to get to The District and lots of other great venues plus has a great Large Balcony to enjoy. So easy to go down one floor and pick up drinks to enjoy on your balcony. And if you want a huge balcony, look at the Mini-Suites with Large Balcony (M6). Excellent location and an awesome balcony.

Ugh! You have 15286 in red with the word narrowest. What does this mean? Also noise level and what does depth of cabin mean. I bid an upgrade and this is my assigned cabin so I can't change it.

The HC balcony next door eats into some of your balcony width. Depth refers to the depth of the balcony which varies by deck.

Also, 14 is slightly deeper than 11. I've adjusted my list since I originally posted.

The cabin assignment fairy has granted us 14302 on an upcoming Escape Bermuda sailing (from balcony guarantee!).  I'm very, very happy to have this cabin. My traveling companion sleeps light.  Wondering from others who have sailed in aft facing rooms on 13/14/15 if you can hear much out of Spice H2O at night during the parties?

While it isn't an aft balcony, do you have any information, picture, video for handicapped cabin 14882?  Thanks in advance!

Does this list also work with the Bliss???  Wondering for a cruise yet to pick...

Bliss, Escape, Joy, and Encore are 9, 12, 15, 14, 11, 10, 13 from deepest to least deep. I've updated the order since posting in 2017.

The stateroom numbers aren't exactly the same for the ships within the class but the physical locations and configurations are the same.
