Hello and first post! :p:p

We are heading on a Southern Caribbean cruise and are booking a variety of excursions through Norwegian. I wanted to research the companies for a couple of the companies that they contract with to read reviews on them. Norwegian was less than helpful simply stating "It's our policy not to give out that information."

In particular, we are planning on diving in St. Thomas and it's kind of a big deal to me make sure the company is reputable. It would also be nice to read reviews on the catamaran excursion we are taking in Antigua. The reviews on the Norwegian booking site are far and few between.

Does anyone have any idea on who these companies are or is this information available anywhere? I am hoping that perhaps someone has taken the excursions recently and can fill me in on their experience.

Thank you in advance!!

Welcome to Cruise Critic!

You may get more responses posting on the NCL board under Cruise Lines and / or the individual ports under the Ports section.

As you found out, the cruise lines rarely, if ever, give out the information of who they use for the tours. They usually don’t allow those vendors to take bookings directly for those on the same ship either.

I usually book non-cruise excursions, when possible. They are usually cheaper, have smaller groups and give you more time than similar ship excursions. Do some research here under the Ports and on TripAdvisor and you should be able to find reputable, highly rated independent excursions in most ports.
