Place for Breakfast

Does anyone know of any inexpensive places to have breakfast that are also good? Thanks!

Please be more specific as to which area you're referring. In Old San Juan, our favorite is La Bombonera. Their coffe is the best!

If all else fails, there's a Denny's in Isla Verde..... It was right next door to our hotel. Depends on where you are staying really....

How about a place close to the Wyndym Condado - inexpensive, just a light snack before boarding, where I won't get sick before the cruise.

Kaye - I was wondering the same thing myself. The only response I got was the Hacienda Restaurant for $5.50/breakfast. However, the writer did not say where this restaurant was located. Maybe someone else might know.

I can't for the life of me remember the place's name, but we stayed at the Wyndham Condado (nice place) and there is a small restaurant a short walk down the street. It's on the ocean facing side of the street. It might be the Hacienda. They have 3-4 tables with windows facing the ocean. Really wonderful view. Cheap breakfast (5 bucks). It's not fancy, but we ate there every morning. Great view, good food.

The previous poster is correct... La Hacienda is the place with 4 tables looking out over the ocean, etc. We just got back from San Juan, and we stayed at the Wyndham Condado Plaza as well. If you turn left when you leave the hotel, it's no more than a 5-minute walk, and it will be on your left between La Ropa Vieja and Waikiki Restaurants. By the way, Waikiki serves breakfast too, but we went there for dinner and had HORRIBLE service, so I wouldn't recommend that one. Have fun!
