Would a denim skirt & sweater be accetable for Smart casual night? How about black or brown cords and a sweater or dress shirt (for my husband)? Thanks for helping this newbie pack!

Welcome to Cruise Critic Buddy976.

Celebrity is one of the more formal lines. According to their dress code jeans are allowed in the main dining room before 6pm only, but are fine for the Lido. Cords, shirt and sweater are fine for your husband. Why not ask your question on the Celebrity boards at Cruise Critic.

I think cords will be too warm and heavy if you're cruising in the Caribbean. Think more lightweight slacks like khaki or chino fabric. Denim may not be the greatest idea, even in a skirt, but they won't kick you out. Most women on Celebrity wear nice capri pants with a pretty top, lightweight slacks and sundresses. I have capri pant sets, matching capris and tops that a lot of women wear on Celebrity.
