This cruise is not operated by Polar Cruises, as reported in the news, but by http://www.traveldynamicsinternational.com/That's correct Vancouverdoug, with one clarification. The ship is currently under charter to Grand Circle Travel, so GCT is in charge of getting passengers home. Polar Cruises is simply a tour operator that sells Travel Dynamics' program.
Also this ship is nowhere near the size of some of the bigger
cruiselines. This ship holds 100 passengers so it is probably
not longer then 200 feet, maybe.
Bigger ships would not be tossed around so much, but
I would rather not find out..
