Really great photos. We did the Coral/Panama last April and will do it again in December. Those pictures show some angles I didn't even see on the ship. Nice review of the entire trip, too.

Downwind: Thanks for the great photos of your PC cruise. I too saw things in your photos that I didn't see when I was on the PC cruise 12/30/04. I especially enjoyed your summary page. What kind of camera (brand, model #) did you use for these photographs? They are very good!

The Camera is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. It has superb image rendering and really sharp focus. The lens is a Canon 28-135mm zoom with Image Stabilization.

Just want to say thank for sharing your wonderful slideshow with us.

We will be “doing” the Canal in October.

On May 8, 2003 I was onboard the Radiance of the Seas as she transited the Panama Canal from east-to-west. I shot this video from the ship's bridge throughout the day, and I have posted it on http://www.CruiseJournals.com for all to see.

You'll find it in the "Downloads" section, and it's pretty fun to watch. It's a time-lapse of the entire transit from beginning to end, and it takes less than 2 minutes to see the whole transit. Very fun to watch. You'll want to watch it a few times, I can guarantee it.

The video also captures a very extreme weather day in the canal. The rain was very heavy at times and adds a great element to the video.
