Hey guys, I will be writing my first review ever on the forums about my recent cruise on the Glory.

I little about myself. My name is Stan I’m 24 and from Northern VA (right outside DC). I went on my first cruise on the Sensation last year and fell in love with cruising ever since.

On this cruise I went with my gf Erika, her sister and her bf.

I will review about my experience on the cruise and include lots of pics.

Please feel free to ask questions.

We all had a flight into Miami the day before and stayed at the Marriott south airport. Checked in and it was getting to be dinner time so we took at cab downtown to Bayside, wow its expensive down there. We ate at a Cuban restaurant and the bill was $140 for 4 people. Walked around and enjoyed the weather.

We cut the night short and went back to the hotel to get a good night sleep for the next day. Taxi ride was $20 each way if anyone wanted to know.

Day 1 1/09

Embarkment

Left the hotel around 11am and went to the port of Miami. The cab fare was $25 from the hotel. Once there the lines were not that long. Total time from security to onboard was about 30-40min. Most of the line was to get on the ship after we got are sail and sign card. We did the online check-in but that line for that was longer then the other non online check-in.

Picture on my interior room 8243, I like interior rooms cause one I save money and the other is that I’m never in the room only to sleep and shower. I’ll do a balcony one day.

Day 2, 1/09 Sea day

Weather was great, not cold at all, prolly upper 70’s. We laid out most the day, ate ate and ate lol. Walked around the ship, played in the casino, watched the shows and comedy shows.

More to come….

Day 3

Cozumel

3 Other ships in port that day. We got off and had booked an all-exclusive beach day with Nachi-Cocom, came with drinks and food. Wow this place was nice. We took a cab there. We choose this place after reading all the good reviews from other members. This place is limited to 100 guests a day. Here some pics.

Day 4

Costa Maya ( was suppose to be belize but carnival changed ports 2 days before are cruise date.)

Costa Maya was by far the best port I’ve been to. Maybe cause I had booked another all exclusive beach day at Maya Chan also cruise board members recommended. We were the only boat in port that day so there were only 4 other couples at the resort. 8-10 people total and had the whole place to ourselves. Wow this place was amazing the weather was in the 80’s. The place was clean and top notch.

Here some pics. The owner of the place was there and he’s from San Diego and has been on over 80 cruises. So him and his wife opened Maya Chan a couple years back.

Day 5

Roatan, Honduras

IMG_3665.jpg

Wanted to talk it easy in Roatan. We didn’t have anything planned out. Wanted to explore when we got off the ship. Saw some ATV’s and decided that would be a fun thing to do. It was a tour in the jungle right by the ziplines then took us to a beach. Company wanted $80 for couple, talked them down to $70.

Day 6

Last stop Grand Cayman

Tender off the ship

Had nothing planned for this port, Grand Cayman was definitely different then the past ports. We decided on a tour around the area. Found those people holding signs like taxis. The lady charged $20 a person and took us for an Island Tour 2 hours long. It was pretty intrusting. Got to know a lot about the Island.

I was on the same cruise , you were! 5 cruises ,and I have never seen such a smooth trip , Seas were almost like glass , never rained

But did you notice the captain never once blew the ships horn

We missed hearing that, Great pictures

I heard him blow the horn in Cozumel. That's about it.

Just wondering if you had anything to say about the ship? What was the food like.. the shows? Did you spend time in the Serenity section? What kind of deck parties did they have? We've done this itinerary with another company so I was kind of hoping for actual ship information, but your pictures are great!~ ;)
