Seattle...Warwick and Westin

We are staying at the Warwick before our Alaskan cruise and the Westin the night we return from it. Are these nice hotels and w/in walking distance of fun things to see. What about good restaurants around them ( do not need to be fancy)

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Westin Seattle is a first rate hotel. Excellent property and service. Very good concierge. Centrally located: adjacent to the monorail and across from Nordstrom's. The monorail will take you to Seattle Center where you'll find the "Space Needle", an amusement park and the city's main arts center. Pike's Market is a only a short downhill walk from the hotel.

I recommend McCormick & Schmick's for lunch or dinner. It's only a few blocks from the hotel. There are a number of good restaurants on the waterfront, too.
