Corner Brook, Newfoundland on our own...

RCCL has finally posted their excursions for the fall cruise season and I am less than enthused with the options available. Has anyone been there and can you suggest something? Did you rent a car on your own? Did you use a tour company? If so, which one? TIA!

I have been to corner Brook. You probably would be better off on a tour. There is not all that much to do in Corner Brook but a tour of the surrounding area would be beautiful. The scenery in this area of Newfoundland is gorgeous! If you venture out on your own you could probably rent a car. Just a little piece of advice the distances on maps are deceptive...travel takes longer than you would expect. You are not travelling on major highways. It is a spectacular area.

Has anyone taken this tour with Princess? How difficult is it? Alot of up hill or mostly flat? Book says you must be in very good physical condition! How long of a hike is it? Thanks
