Nclbella Posted December 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2012 Has anyone ever stayed in this, or a comparable stateroom? We booked last minute and understand it is a handicapped accessible room. I was wondering if there was a tub? I would love to see pics if anyone has them! valleyvillage Posted December 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2012 There is no tub. You're very close to the pool. Others may have pictures. Enjoy your cruise!
punkincc Posted December 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 18, 2012 We stayed in a handicapped family suite, but on the Star. It does have a large walk in shower, circled by drains in order to accommodate a wheelchair. Huge bathroom counter. The cabin is awesome, with 2 closets and more drawer space than we could use. Huge wall of floor to ceiling windows. You will love this room! The only caveat, we could hear people on the forward part of the jogging track above as early as 4:30 am. It is supposed to be closed, so not sure if it is a thoughtless passenger, or crew members.

lazydaz Posted December 19, 2012 #7 Share Posted December 19, 2012 We stayed in a regular Family Suite 12528 in October and loved the location. It is across the hall from the library, a short walk to the pool and hot tub and beyond the pool is the garden cafe and the children's play area. If you are in a suite you can easily walk up a level to Cagney's for breakfast and/or lunch if you wish and on your way back to your cabin you can grab an ice-cream from the Sprinkles ice cream bar or an extra dessert from the Garden cafe. The suite is large and has big windows. A couple of times we heard early morning joggers but most of the time we felt we were in a pretty quiet location. You will find it very handy for a young family. Have fun!
