Celebrity Eclipse Why I Sail Celebrity by Trialawyer
My wife and I sailed on Celebrity's Eclipse on a two-week cruise to the southern Caribbean on January 12, 2013. We have sailed with Celebrity several times before, but this was our first cruise on the Eclipse. About us. I am a trial lawyer and my wife is a Personal Shopper. We exercise daily as an integral part of our lifestyle, and except when we vacation, we watch what we eat. Trim and fit are two words which I think best describe us physically. Here are some compelling reasons for you to seriously consider a Celebrity cruise: 1. Celebrity has the most progressive non-smoking policy in the mass cruise market. It is the only cruise line to ban smoking on balconies as well as in the cabins and the casinos. On the Eclipse, smoking was limited to a section of the port side of the pool deck, to the port side of an outdoor bar at the back of the ship, and to an outdoor bar on the starboard side on the deck above the pools. I heard no complaints from anyone. Continue reading... Why I Sail Celebrity

Norwegian Jewel A Wonderful Winter Getaway by Sandyshore
I traveled with my husband. We are mid-50's and this was my 5th NCL cruise, his 4th, and our 15th overall. We are fans of freestyle cruising. This was a 12-day, our longest cruise to date. We arrived at the Manhattan pier at about 10:45 am, after a very easy Sunday morning drive. The car service from CT dropped us off at street level where a porter took our bags, and we rode up in the freight elevator. There were no lines getting through security. Check-in was quick and we were directed to the VIP lounge where we received our key cards. The ship was ready at 11, so in no time at all we were escorted on board in one big group, bypassing the embarkation photo. We were all led straight to Cagney's with our carry-on bags. There we were, sitting in Cagney's at 11:15 ordering lunch. My stomach would have preferred breakfast fare, but I ordered a hamburger with lettuce only. Meaning I didn't want the tomato, onion, or cheese. Sometimes you get what you ask for. I got a roll with...lettuce only. Our table had a good laugh about it, but the server seemed perplexed about what I really wanted. After lunch, I wanted to explore but didn't want to drag my carry-on with me. Continue reading... Carnival Breeze Beautiful Ship - MOST won't be dissapointed by Kemery
We were a little skeptical because of all the negative reviews, but we had an amazing time and the ship is beautiful. I don't know how anyone could be disappointed. ARRIVAL & EMBARKATION: We arrived very early at the Port of Miami, around 9:30, but I highly recommend this. We were one of the first two people processed. It took all of 5 minutes. Yes, we had to wait until about 11AM before they let us on the ship but we didn't have to deal with the lines. It was great. Plus we were boarding group number one. The night before we stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. It was just OK considering we paid $250. The room kind of smelled, but it was fine for one night. We got on the ship before a lot of people and had the chance to walk around before it got crowded. The ship is beautiful! I don't know how anyone could complain about the decor or say it looks understated. The word that comes to my mind is "classy". Continue reading... Beautiful Ship - MOST won't be dissapointed

Mariner of the Seas Wonderful experience from beginning to end by 2dogs4cats
This cruise was our family's first cruise, although husband and I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise many years ago. We were all very excited about this one, in spite of the fact that we had a 20 hour drive from Phoenix to Galveston.
The Mariner is a beautiful, impressive ship. Our kids, ages 11 and 13, were wowed. We used EZ Cruise parking service, and they were excellent. The embarkation process was fairly slow. It seemed that everyone else had the same idea we did: arrive as early as you can and enjoy your first day on the ship. We had booked this cruise less than two weeks prior and we didn't have passports, but our official birth certificates were just fine and didn't slow down our check-in process at all. In spite of long lines, nothing dampened our excitement. Continue reading... Wonderful experience from beginning to end

Celebrity Infinity Celebrity Does It Right Except Wine! by Rutman
It is probably important for you to know my family and I are seasoned cruisers. Over the past 16 years we've sailed a total of 26 times on Celebrity, Holland America, Cunard, Princes, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, and MSC. This was second sailing on the Infinity, our first being in 2009, and our 9th cruise with Celebrity. We picked this cruise largely because of the itinerary as this was the first Celebrity cruise in two years to go to Antarctica and the Falkland Islands. Celebrity has gradually become our favorite cruise line because of the food quality, but admittedly we've done a number of cruises with other cruise lines recently because the itinerary was not offered by Celebrity. Overview The Celebrity Infinity was refurbished in 2011, which was a good thing as our first sailing on her in 2009 left us less than impressed. It was a tired, old ship in need of TLC and the recent upgrade to "Solstice Lite" definitely was a big improvement. Continue reading... Celebrity Does It Right Except Wine!
