Eco-cruise Of Gatun Lake (RCCL)

Can someone give us some comments/advice about taking this shore excursion.. we will be on the Brilliance in Feb 2006, and thought this might interest us.

More specifically, if we went on this tour, would we rejoin the Brilliance at Cristobal Pier?

Help please!! Someone must have taken this excursion and have some comments. How did you like this tour? We are also doing the canal cruise in Costa Rica...how do they compare?:confused: :confused:

Took the Eco Cruise with Celebrity. They put us with a tour company. We spent a while loading what most people thought to be crowded shuttles and then going back to the view the locks from the visitor's center. This isn't something we wanted to do because we drank our fill of the wonderful experience of going through the Gatun Locks while we were on the ship. Then we toured around and ended up at Gatun Lake again -- and waited for the little boats to arrive. We were on the boat for about an hour. We did see some wildlife -- and passed some of the other tours that were out on the lake, including the kayak tour. We were brought back to Critobal Pier and dropped off well before our ship arrived. We didn't like the tour to be honest.
