Breakaway Semi Live: Oct 29 - Oct 5, 17 Halloween Storm Special, Take #2

Here we go ... just about ready to go - rain, wind & what not aren't going to stall us. Let's rock & roll a bit, on our way down to Florida - it will be fine.

Following Seadog67's trackbut this, like my previous report, stay Semi Live like previous ones, since weare unlikely to upgrade to unlimited satellite WiFi on the ship. Goodenough with 310 minutes or about 1.1 GB of 3G+ data to use for at sea ...yielding 3 to 4 hours daily "live airtime" on average, over 5 out of7 days. On land tower's cellular signal while docked.

Once we make it to our first stop at Port Canaveral, FL - wewill be back on T-Mobile & Project Fi, and have a 3rd. line on AT&T ...not going to waste time to find "free" WiFi in port. GSC is onDay 4 or Wednesday, currently just 50:50, maybe less - if we do make it ashore... should be on roaming on "BTS" at 4G speed. If we keep goingdue to sea conditions & end up docking early at Nassau to overnight, then -BTS will also take care of our coverage.

Did a NYE cruise on Gem last year and booked on Breakaway for this NYE. Had a blast.

I'm with the Mrs. I will take my Meclizine the night before we sail and have my Sea-Bands with me. There is nothing worse than being seasick :( and for me it does not take much, but if I starts the meds the night before I am fine.:D

Ship almost cleared, should start boarding within next 30 minutes. Still only about 30 to 40 in the Platinum seating area. Whole place doesn't feel crowded and that's a good thing. We are right next to the security podium for our boarding area.

So much smoother than last Sunday, with the Coast Guard drill. We were back to back and my wife was passenger number 1 to scan on and that happened at 1:15. Hope your weather is better than ours was. Lots of rain in PC and at GSC. Beautiful day at Nassau, however.

Did you get the iConcierge app extra to talk and txt people with you onboard? If so how much does it cost pre phone? Also if you got it please let me know how well it works...got a teen going with us and want him to keep in touch with us ;) I hope y'all have a great cruise!!!!!:)
