Balcony room without a door??

I just read on another post that is is possible that the balcony room on the Caribbean Princess my fiance and I booked for our honeymoon may not have a door leading to the balcony. We are on the baja deck and apparantly, some of the rooms didn't get the door finished off on them before the first cruise departed. Does anyone know anything about this?

No door from the room to the balcony so the room is exposed to the elements? I highly doubt that, but you should post a question like this on the Princess board here at Cruise Critic. You'll find tons of folks there who have already been on this new ship and can probably tell you what's really going on there.

Do you have a link to that post, by the way?

The cabins are pre-fab 'boxes.' I can't imagine one being without its door. I do recall a discussion about one of the new ships having some forward-facing balcony cabins which they were considering downgrading (to an outside cabin) so they could 'fix' the door in a closed position because of wind problems.
