Nitemare Posted May 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Buy 'em now and test them out at home before you take the trip. We found that a white noise machine works great at drowning out snoring.
JanetMarie Posted May 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2004 I have a white machine because of DH's snoring and it works fine for me. OUR NEXT ONWARD JOURNEY!
CrazyCruiseCanuck Posted May 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2004 There's also a herbal product called "Snorestop" which can be bought in most grocery stores in the US.(tablets) It does not eliminate the snoring, but the volume is decreased! Don't ask me how I know.

NorfolkSailor Posted May 7, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Depending on the kind of snoring, the stips DO seem to help. The best advice is to use some form of white noise - a machine or fan or other device - as noted by others in this thread. Even a radio tuned to static can work. The bottom line is any steady and sufficiently loud noise to mask the intermittent sound of snoring (because it's not the volume, it's the CHANGE in volume that wakes people up). -Kevin Maasdam 11/30/
