Big mall in SJ?

I don't remember any info about the big mall in SJ. Does anyone know anything about it? I remember several crew members telling me they usually go when they are in port. Does anyone know the name of it? Does it have a website? Hours? How far is it from pier (OSJ or Pan Am)? What are some of the stores? Any other info? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Yes, there is a large mall, Plaza Las Americas. It is about 15 to 30 minutes from docks depending on traffic. A taxi will run about 12.00 each way and are quite easy to locate at dock and mall. It is a pretty typical mall. There is a Penneys and Sears, but in San Juan these stores are much larger and nicer than the same here. There is a new Macys and many, mnay small shops. This is a web site with both spanish and english information. http://www.plazalasamericas.net/
It's a pretty mall, recently it has been renovated. I always seem to end up there sometime pre cruise as I forget items or I hit the adjacent KMart for a decent pillow and snacks.

You can also get there on a direct bus (no transfers) from the OSJ bus depot at the piers.

$.25 each way. 15 - 20 minutes sounds right.

I think it's still the B21, but you can always ask at the bus depot.

Didn't you ask this question before?

Click anywhere here to go to a site where you can select Shopping Center / Mall to view store list and hours of operation. It has a full list of stores in Plaza Las Americas
