Soto's=FANTASTIC EXPERIANCE

We sailed the CARNIVAL Conquest on May 2 and ported in GC on the 6th. I had booked the stingray tour through Soto's as per advice from a CC'er.

Let me just say that these people (Billy & crap I can't remember his name..) were so wonderful! We had such a personal experiance with these guys. Being native to the island they would jump out of the boat at the snorkel stops and actually coerse nerf sharks and HUGE eels out of the coral for us to take a look at. It was such an amazing experiance. They were so hands on with the stingrays actually going and getting them (as in handling them) from other areas where tourists were. We were in a group of about 10 and it was so great because every one of us was able to have a really personal experiance with everything.

I really can't say enough about these guys. We will always remember our experiance. They were super nice, picked us up near the pier (at the Church of God parking lot across the street from the tender stations) and brought us back.

I would recommend them to anyone and they are by far the best value and I am willing to bet one of the best experiances on the island.

thanks for a very informative review of your May 2nd sailing! We sailed the Conquest on her maiden voyage and are going back for more Nov. 7th and was considering Soto's. Did you pre pay a deposit? Were you picked up at the dock or did you take a taxi? or...did you walk. I had read it was about 3 blocks from where you tender...Which package did you choose? Thanks !!!

All they require is a credit card to hold your spot. We then paid in cash when we arrived. Billy picked us up at the dock (no extra charge) and brought us back. They send very detailed instructions on where to meet and it is a very short walk when you step into Georgetown and VERY easy t find. You can see the church from the ship (we met in the parking lot across from the church). We paid $24 and this included 2 snorkel stops and stingray city sandbar. They included all snorkel equipment and drinks (water/lemonade). If you go with these guys you will not be sorry. You get such a personal one on one experiance and they have a videographer come and BUY the video! We got ours in yesterday and it is hilarious (me screaming when getting "love" from all the stingrays within a mile!)

Hey Lafayette, I am supposed to be going with Soto's the first of June. I have not had contact with them since I made the reservation a few months ago. Did they contact you with instructions or should I contact them again? I was thinking I needed to contact them this week.
