Captain Marvin's vs. Nativeway vs. Soto's

Like you, I heard great things about each of these companies. I really didn't have a choice though, as Nativeway was the only one that fit the time we were in port....so that made my decision for me. I'd be interested to hear what others say too.

I have not been on any of the tours, but I did read up on all 3 on the boards. This may sound odd, but I was not impressed with Captain Marivn's website - so I decided to go with Nativeway. I sent them an email about a week ago requesting a reservation, but I never heard anything back. So, yesterday I went online to Soto's website and requested a reservation throught them. I have not heard back as of yet... so we shall see.

Hi, I'm booked with Capt. Bryan's, I too wanted the Bucaneer for said reasons but also was not in port long enough, they caught that, so it seems they will look out for us. hate to miss the tender back. Can't wait to see the sting-rays-HL

Same price at the trip with Captain Marvins which is only a motor boat, but there are so many extras on the Buccaneer.

Do you know if drinks are included in the price of the trip or do you have to pay extra?

we are probably going to book with Soto's , they are $24pp vs $39 or $34pp.

I Emailed them this week and they answered back within 48 hours (their Email was sent to my "Junk Mail" automatically by my computer, so check your junk mail and don't just accidentally erase it.)

I am booked with Capt. Bryan's too. They adjusted their excursion for the ship's time in port, which I thought was great. So far they have been really good to work with. I also liked the idea of sailing vs motorboat.

According to their website, it's a cash bar.

We booked with Nativeway and were in Grand Cayman on May 31 - it was a FABULOUS trip - there were 4 of us on the boat (that could hold approximately 20, and 2 guides - we were on the Sensation, they picked us up at the designated time and had us back within 5 minutes of when they said they would have us back. The guides were wonderful and informative - we swam with the stingrays and snorkeled - it was one of the highlights of our trip. The boat provided water and punch and had all the equipment on the boat, including a bathroom.

This was my 2nd trip on the Sensation - I love the boat - it's a great size! It was a good trip except we had 900 kids under the age of 21 on the boat - many were just graduating from high school - timing was definitely the key! However, we had a great time and would go again in a skinny minute!
