confusing Diamond/Sapphire route maps

I've been asking about this on the Alaska forum also so pardon my cross-posting.

I've been hearing that the Sapphire and Diamond will be sailing entirely outside of Vancouver Island on the 'Inside Passage' routes. But, two different maps on their web site show two different routes...

This one, for example, shows the ships staying outside..

While this one clearly shows them going inside one way...

Can anyone confirm, 100%, what these boats are doing??

I am curious about this also - looking at next summer - these are the two drawings that are confusing to me and I wonder if they are accurate:

Sapphire:

This (if I do it right) is the route map for the Sapphire in the "Plan your Voyage" section of the Princess site...it contradicts the above maps not only by showing Princess and Diamond on the same route but also in regards to where (if at all) they cut inside...

my apologies...yikes...this should work...and the maps ALREADY posted are from "Plan your Voyage." This is from "Destination: Alaska."
