We stayed at the Embassy Suites in San Juan pre-cruise. It was a Saturday and there were many activities going on, including a San Juan version of American Idol. The room looked a bit worn, but it was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that all the rooms open to the atrium, and they have a live band playing until at least midnight. Kind of hard to get to sleep.
