Star Cruises the Leading Cruise Line in Asia Pacific is set for a spectacular entertainment double on the high seas with Danish super pop group Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) scheduled to perform live on SuperStar Aquarius and SuperStar Virgo in June and July.

Cruisers in Hong Kong will also enjoy the added thrill of watching the concert scheduled for 30 June on Star Cruises’ newest addition to the fleet in Hong Kong, SuperStar Aquarius. She is set to make her debut in Hong Kong on 22 June 2007 with daily 1 night international waters as well as 2 night destination cruises to Xiamen and Haikou in China.

Alternatively, fans of the group will also be able to catch MLTR perform on SuperStar Virgo on 11 July.

Michael Learns To Rock is definitely one of the biggest Danish successes on the music scene, with more than 9 million albums sold worldwide since their debut album in 1991. The album included the hit song ‘The Actor’ which topped the charts in Norway, Sweden, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.

Other hits like Sleeping Child, 25 Minutes and Out of the Blue were part of the compelling sounds of the band that won the admiration of millions of fans around the globe.

The group has over the years garnered a huge following in Asia playing to sell out concerts. Other highlights include being awarded the prestigious RSH Award in Germany as well as being chosen as headliner for the Celebrate Hong Kong Concert on 6 July 1997, the climax to festivities marking the transfer of Hong Kong to China.
