Looking for any suggestions for cruising music that's fun and upbeat -:)

as well as romantic tunes ;)

We're filling up our iPod for a Caribbean Princess cruise in 3 weeks!

Hopefully we won't need any rainy day music...

What rocks your world?

Hard to go wrong with Jimmy Buffet. Try one of his greatest hits albums or "live at fenway".

Also give a listen to anything by Lord Kitchener. And of course you need a good compilation of steel drum band music. Just do a search on amazon for one of those.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

I was hoping for some specific artists names/songs and I'm so glad you pointed out Barefoot Man! He's great!

I'm heading off to search for the others.

We can't wait to dance on our aft balcony next week!

(the CP out of FL on 9/9)

I'm planning on using my photos and video clips from my upcoming cruise to make a video of my own. Granted, my tastes in music lean more toward the classical side, I thought that "Victory at Sea" would be a great opener for a scene as the ship is first leaving port.

Kenny Chesney actually has quite a few beach/tropical themed songs. We have Sirius, so on the drive we'll listen either to Margaritaville radio or the reggae station. If you've sailed RCCL you'll also want "Dollar Wine Dance" by Byron Lee.
