When should we visit the Galapagos?

Our first trip was in early April. We are considering November for 2008. Would it be very different? When are the sea lions pups born?

November is a great time, it is an ideal time for baby pups.

Between-seasons are best times, imo.

I was there early December and thought it was a perfect time - no garua, lots of babies (pups and birds) and it was not too hot when walking the trails.

Unfortunately no baby pups chose to swim with me/us, but we saw many on the beaches.

We just returned from a 3 nt. Galapagos cruise on Nov. 11th. There were quite a few sea lion pups nursing. That might be a good time. TT
